I had a mixed experience at the resort. On one hand, the kids' amenities and activities were superb, which made our family vacation enjoyable. The food was impressive as well. However, the physical conditions of the facilities leave much to be desired and the cleanliness was not always up to par. Overall, it could be a great place with a few improvements.

I had a wonderful tennis-centered vacation at this resort. The tennis facilities were top-notch, and the instruction from Gino and the coaches was outstanding, making it a memorable experience for my kids and me. However, the noise levels were quite disruptive, particularly from the toilets and cleaning staff, which impacted our ability to relax fully. While the rooms were modest yet clean, dining indoors felt more like a cafeteria experience, which didn’t align with the pricing of our stay.

I had a wonderful time at Club Med Sandpiper Bay. The activities were plentiful and enjoyed by the whole family, and I was particularly impressed with the attentive staff and their engaging nature. However, I was disappointed to find the golf course closed and thought the dining options could be improved. Overall, it was a solid choice for a family getaway.

While the food was generally good, I thought the choices were somewhat limited and could use a bit more creativity. The carvery station was definitely a highlight.

My stay at Club Med Sandpiper Bay was quite mixed. On one hand, the resort offers a range of activities for kids and adults, which kept my family entertained throughout the trip. The G.O. staff was fantastic and very engaging, making it easier for my kids to make friends. However, the service level left something to be desired, along with the condition of the rooms which definitely need updates. Overall, it was a decent family vacation, but there are areas for improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were a bit dated and could use some updates, especially the bathrooms, but they were otherwise functional.

We had a fabulous getaway with some amazing highlights, including exceptional service from some staff members and a variety of enjoyable activities. The food quality at the buffet was impressive, and the adult pool was a tranquil retreat. However, not everything was perfect as we experienced some disorganization, especially with the golf club rentals and the need for better maintenance. Overall, it was a nice experience, yet it could use some improvements to reach its full potential.

Rooms

Our room had a lovely view of the bay, but it could use a little maintenance. The hand-held shower sprayer wasn’t properly attached, and the magnifying mirror was unusable.
Service
7.0
The service was hit or miss. Some staff members, like Scott the pastry chef and our waiter Gustavo, were outstanding, while others seemed a bit overwhelmed and less engaging.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located near the activities and has beautiful bay views, making it easy to enjoy everything the resort offers.
Dining

The food service was top quality with great variety and attention to dietary needs, although some wait staff had off moments.

The adult infinity pool was a relaxing highlight, and there were plenty of activities to keep us engaged throughout our stay.
